As an Economic Support Specialist, you will work closely with our forensic economist to assist in preparing testimony and reports for litigation purposes.
Your responsibilities will include writing economic reports, conducting data analysis and data entry, performing telephone interviews, reviewing legal documents, and summarizing personal and business financial and tax records.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the forensic economist to prepare economic reports and testimony for litigation purposes.
Conduct data analysis, data entry, and maintain accurate and organized databases.
Perform telephone interviews to gather relevant financial and economic information.
Review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and financial statements.
Summarize and analyze personal and business financial and tax records.
Utilize Excel and Word software proficiently to create reports and maintain documentation.
Apply college algebra principles to support economic calculations and analysis.
Ensure attention to detail while working with complex financial data and documentation.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, to convey complex economic concepts and findings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience or strong knowledge of the fields of economics, accounting, or finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Previous experience in forensic economics or litigation support is preferred but not required.
