Maintenance Technician Seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
In this position, you will be responsible for general day-to-day maintenance, repair, upkeep and efficient operation of the apartment community as a whole.
This includes the areas of light carpentry, light electrical work, light plumbing, and mechanical.
We want someone who works well independently as well as with others.
Someone who is self-motivated and driven to keep your property consistently in top shape will do well at this property.

Responsibilities:
Completing work orders properly and in a timely manner; Order needed supplies for the week with the property manager Keeping the property in excellent condition and taking initiative on property maintenance as a whole (non work order related) Making apartments ready for occupancy Basic electrical skills and fixture installation (i.
e.
ceiling fixtures and lighting) Basic plumbing skills and installation Coordinating repairs with outside vendors as needed Perform HVAC maintenance (HVAC/EPA Certified or equivalent is Required) You will service this property as well as 3 others in the area when on-call, every 4th week.
Keep work shop clean and organized and up-to-date record of supplies Observe and comply with property policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment Perform casual labor, such as, lifting/moving heavy items Must be able to lift 100 lbs Basic knowledge of swimming pool operations (Pool certification a plus) On-call availability for emergencies and projects as assigned Past experience with property maintenance strongly recommended Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently Hard work ethic and works well with others On-time and reliable with a positive attitude We do not hire felons.
Must pass a drug screen.
