Charles, we specialize in life-changing care for adolescents, adults and senior adults.
Inpatient and outpatient treatment are provided for a range of mental health and substance abuse disorders.
This person will carry a caseload of Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor clients and have primary responsibility for Substance Abuse treatment in the facility.
Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Provide initial assessment, individual, group and family therapy services to individuals admitted to the program while establishing an effective relationship with customers, ensuring appropriate customer service is provided.
Initial authorization and continuing or concurrent certification of services with various insurance and managed care companies referring patients for programming Collaborate with the Psychiatrist in developing, directing and implementing treatment plan interventions and assisting the participants in meeting their program and aftercare goals.
Ensure interdisciplinary treatment planning is organized with participation of all appropriate clinical disciplines.
Ensure all patient, family and referral complaints are promptly addressed while monitoring and evaluating the utilization of the patient satisfaction survey and evaluate trends.
Ensure that a system is developed to provide continuity of care and communication with family and appropriate referral sources, and ensure the system is evaluated and reviewed regularly.
Ensure the program meets JCAHO, CMS, and federal and state regulatory requirements.
Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor Job Requirements:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or in a related field.
Five (5) years post graduate experience working with individuals on an outpatient basis, in a mental health or hospital setting, with direct experience in diagnostic assessment, psychiatric diagnosis and psychotropic medication required.
Three (3) years' experience in management desired.
Experienced with the provision of individual, family and group therapy services on an outpatient basis, have a familiarity with chemical dependency issues, a knowledge of 12 step programs and philosophies.
Strong clinical documentation skills and a familiarity with managed care companies, authorization, certification of services is required.
License preferred.
