Description The Retail Purchasing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the supply chain for our five Swade Dispensaries throughout the Greater St.
Louis and St.
Charles communities, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and maximizing profitability.
This position will work closely with the Retail Operations team, along with the Marketing team.
Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality product standards.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and industry best practices to make informed purchasing decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and agreements.
Evaluate vendor performance regularly and take appropriate actions to ensure reliability and consistency in the supply chain.
Source and onboard new suppliers that align with the company's quality and ethical standards.
Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
Utilize inventory management software and data analytics to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to the financial targets of the departmental budget.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to purchasing, such as cost variance, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to purchasing practices.
Work closely with other departments, such as merchandising, marketing, and operations, to align purchasing strategies with overall business objectives.
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize transportation and distribution processes.
Build product shells/discounts on Dutchie and upload each new product/mix, product description, and image to plan.

Maintain Treez Product Configuration Perform daily audits of Swade's online menu to make sure each product has product description, image, etc.
Communicate new 3rd party products to the marketing and retail teams with assets and branding.
Keep 3rd party contacts sheet up to date.
Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with inventory management software and supply chain analytics tools.
In-depth knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Compensation and Benefits Full-time exempt position, compensation commensurate with experience.
