What's a typical day as a Customer Service Representative? You'll be:
o Receiving customer requests by phone, mail or fax and analyzing the request to provide information requested or routing the request to the proper person.
o Searching company records under ZIP code, name, account number, etc.
, using software system, computer printout, or requisition information from factory.
o Resolving customer questions related to orders and taking orders as needed.
o Maintaining cooperative relationships with other departments for order completion.
o Responding to customers' requests via telephone or Fax.
o Having knowledge of the product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing promotional services, and similar data, as required.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
o Have a minimum of high school education or a GED.
o Have 1-2 years' experience in a customer service setting.
o Have a pleasant telephone voice/manner and the ability to operate simple office equipment sufficiently to perform the job.
o Are able to read, speak and comprehend English.
o Have the ability to compose correspondence using proper English and grammar.
