Administrative Assistant Outreach and Enrollment

The Outreach and Enrollment Administrative Assistant will provide background support to the Outreach and Enrollment program team, specifically related to the tracking, and follow up of patients that have no coverage, PE temp applications, and annual renewals due for MO HealthNet enrollment.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday.
This is a remote position open to Missouri residents only.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS o Monitor/check PE/Temp Coverages:
o Ensure activation to cover date of service? Research if coverage didn't start on DOSo Ensure a full MO HealthNet app was entered by O&E staffo Check status of PE/Temp when expiring to ensure full app was process, if not request PE extensiono Once approval is obtained, update CATS (O&E Database) with application statuso If further information is requested to process app, reach out by phone to client to support them in returning the required information.
o If cases are denied, make sure denial is correcto Work with FSD to fix any errors o Utilize, manage, and maintain Lapse Detection software to identify patients who have lost Medicaid coverage due to annual renewalso Pull lists of patients with upcoming appointments and lapsed coverageo Run patient name in CATS (O&E Database) to make sure they have not been assisted by O&E staff.
o Run patient in MEDES/FAMIS (state system) to make sure patient did not lose coverage b/c they are over income, etc.
o Assign patient to O&E team member for outreach o Check processes above by checking patients again in a week to see if O&E were able to connect with patient to resume coverage through application, etc and document this in Lapse Detection o Add missing NextGen and Avatar patient ID's to patient lists prior to submission to billing departmento Keep Z drive resources up to date such as income charts, etc.
o Assist busy O&E team members by entering Medicaid apps and uploading PE/Temp paperwork High School/GED requiredAssociate's Degree preferred WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Administrative experience preferred Compass Health Network is a nonprofit health care organization offering accessible, comprehensive, & compassionate behavioral health, substance use treatment, family medicine and dental services throughout Missouri.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
