Community Living Home Supervisor

The Community Living Home Supervisor is responsible for the overall efficiency of the house.
The Home Supervisor will assist in creating an environment in which individuals diagnosed with a persistent mental illness and/or a developmental disability will have the opportunity to grow and make the transition to community living.
This will be done not only in the areas of supporting, encouraging, and instructing, but also by modeling for them the desired behaviors.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Wednesday 2:
30 pm to 11:
00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 8:
00 am to 4:
00 pm.
Responsibilities include:
Office Duties o Maintain resident and personnel files (PISL/IRTS)o Maintain adequate staffing via When 2 Work programo Assure compliance with all staff for all policies and procedures and follow disciplinary process if/when neededo Complete 6 month and annual employee evaluationso Upon arrival, read the Communication log/Manager Notes and coworkerso Order office supplieso Maintain medications and medication supplieso File forms in the clients' charts and help keep client records up to dateo Make decisions regarding the functioning for the site in the Home Manager's absenceo Serve as a point person for client schedules o Help keep a calendar of appointments and meetings up to date for the Manager Shift Dutieso Document events and activities in daily resident progress notes per training receivedo Plan and prepare daily meals in accordance with any required nutrition planso Coordinate the grocery shopping; household supply shoppingo Administer medications and document any adverse reactionso Monitor financial books, receipts and cash o Monitor MAR for signatures, errors, new med orders House Dutieso Monitor manager assigned tasks and ensure they are being completedo Help keep the house cleaning supplies stocked as neededo Help review daily documentation to ensure that they are complete and accurateo Help review medication and medication sheets at the end of the shift to check for erroro Oversee house maintenance & cleaning (See CLI Job Description for detail list) Additional Job Duties o Assist in Treatment Plan development and implementationo Assist in team meetings at DDRB (if applicable) as well as help prepare for DMH surveys and re-licensureo Complete any tasks, assignments or instruction given by a managero Complete all required trainings outlined in policy manualo Adhere to all policies and procedures of Compass Health Networko Ensure transportation of clients as needed High School/GED required o At least two (2) years experience preferredo Valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver's license by the end of the 60-day introductory period requiredo Must have a reliable personal vehicle with current insurance, registration and copy of inspection as required by state lawQUALIFICATION(S):
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
