0 Saint Charles, MO Saint Charles, MO Full-time Full-time $27 - $30 an hour $27 - $30 an hour Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and startups of automated manufacturing equipment and facility support systems.
You may have other duties assigned not listed below.
Essential Job Functions Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment controlled by Siemens PLCs, Simatics servo drives, vision systems, pneumatics and related technologies.
Perform mechanical and electrical preventative and predictive maintenance routines for manufacturing equipment and facilities systems.
Responsible for compliance with all Safety and Quality requirements, achieving production and spoilage targets, execution of maintenance plan, conversion between product orders, and accurate record keeping.
All other duties as assigned.
Competencies Knowledgeable of industrial control systems, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs.
Able to perform electrical, electronic, and light mechanical maintenance and repairs.
Excellent troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of equipment failures or degradation.
Skilled with both electrical and mechanical hand tools and testing equipment.
Effective communication skills with all levels of production team members and management.
Supervisory Responsibility None.

Days and general hours of work will vary as the company's production capability and staffing level increases.
After training this position shift will go to an Second(2nd) shift 2:
00pm-10:
30pm or Third shift (3rd) 10:
00pm-6:
30am, some weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Position requires less than 2% travel.
Required Education and Experience Associates Degree or Certificate in technical field such as Electrical Automation Technology, Control Systems Technology, or other Industrial maintenance technology type field
Experience:
2-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Additional Eligibility Qualifications None required for this position.
