POSITION SUMMARY
Avertest, a multi-location forensic drug and alcohol testing service provider, is seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee and direct all laboratory operations in accordance with CLIA guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assumes the responsibility for the administrative, organizational and professional activates of the laboratory.
Works with laboratory staff and COO to plan, organize, and direct the laboratory operations
Develops, implements, and maintains laboratory SOPs
Facilitates monthly QC/QA processes and controls
Leads the laboratory accreditation process
Ensures lab facilities are adequate for safe and accurate testing
Trains customers on need-to-know trends and information such as dilution testing
Testifies in court
Helps to hire new laboratory talent
KNOWLEDGED, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of forensic toxicology services
Advanced knowledge of screening methods
Advanced ability to understand analytical techniques and procedures
Advanced ability to understand laboratory instrumentation
Advanced ability to understand certification requirements for CLIA
Advanced understanding of drugs of abuse that are tested
Ability to maintainEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
