Overview:
The position is responsible for reviewing digital image files, evaluating, and correcting any color deviations prior to printing to department standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide digital color analysis for incoming image files in order to meet the department quality standards. Crop and apply corrective color to all images using the lead tool program.
Repair images that require Photoshop with Photoshop tools and applications to achieve efficiency.
Identify direct camera lighting and photography problems to Photoshop. Retouch images using Kodak Professional KPARS program by selecting babies face with the correct tool(s) to smooth babies skin tone.
Assist in the review of digital remakes and expedite corrective action to ensure cost savings on reproduction.
Operate Photoshop and Printer Management Console to insure the color quality meets the department standards.
Support onsite printing by cropping and applying corrective color to images using Kodak professional KPARS program to the specifications set by the photographer.
Meet the department standards on the quantity of images color corrected.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job share when directed by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/
Experience:
High school plus; 6 months of Photoshop experience in a classroom setting and/or a work setting.
Preferred Education/
Experience:
Associate''s Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1 year of Photoshop experience with color production.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Photoshop design software.
Ability to pass a Photoshop skills assessment test.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit 90% of the workday and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
Schedule Requirements:
Must be able to work overtime when needed, and some Saturdays.
